Your morning begins with a nourishing breakfast served either in our corner dining parlor, or on the deck overlooking the lake. Spend some time relaxing in our beautiful and cozy sitting room or upstairs in one of the landing nooks, reading from our curated library collection or inspiring design magazines. You also won’t want to miss the most stunning view spot in the house, the cupola on the third floor, with 360 views of the lakes and village.
On the Property & In the Village
Enjoy a glass of wine, a local brew or cider on the deck, play a competitive game of corn hole on the back lawn, kick back in one of our Adirondack chairs and soak up the sun, or just dip your feet in the lake from one of our two docks. Don’t miss the dramatic sunsets which you can enjoy from just about anywhere on the property. In the evenings, you might want to gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and tell stories.
We are steps away from local favorite Day’s Store which features groceries, souvenirs and ice cream treats. In the other direction, Hello Good Pie offers yummy bakery items, delicious lunch items and, of course, really good pie! Right across the street is the famous Village Inn which serves delicious dinners in their cozy rustic dining room and outdoors overlooking the stream. Other shops in the village feature local crafts and gifts, and don’t miss the Sunday farmer’s market from June through September.

Water Rentals
Visit MainePaddling.com for your water rental needs. Call in advance to rent a canoe or paddleboard and they’ll drop it off right on our property for you to spend your visit exploring the lakes and soaking up the sunshine from the Pond.
In the Area
Outdoor life abounds in the Belgrade Lakes area, from boating and fishing, hiking and golfing, blueberry picking, and long drives exploring all the area has to offer. Rent a boat, paddle board or canoe, play golf on the exceptional and panoramic Belgrade Lakes Golf Course, or hike one of the many beautiful trails of the region. Our central Maine location is also only a short drive from several of our favorite scenic coastal towns.
